I just discovered your blog via Dave Black’s. Great quote by Clement! I look forward to more.
I can relate with the information you posted about yourself: my wife and I are expecting our first child in December, we are in seminary (only I go to Southeastern, which, as we all know, is THE Southern Baptist Seminary).
The “the” is very important in our name. It makes us sound elite. Thanks for stopping by.
Patrick – thanks for posting this. I’m reading a lot of NTW and following these things closely.
Good to know that the little kid I met MANY years ago in the home of Tom & Diane is doing well! (yup, another former student of your dad, with the BBC connections too). My wife Laurel and i have 7 kids and live in upstate NY. God bless you and the arrival of your child!
Just wanted to leave a brief comment, saying how much I enjoy your blog posts… Good stuff, to say the least!
Thanks for reading.
This is one of them neutral point of view blogs which offer us the truth as theists see it. Unfortunately for theist pseudo-researchers, the reality seems to be quite devoid of deities. Of course, the absence of God is one of His tests of faith, am I right? Looking forward for more objective posts of yours which surely enlighten every man, woman and child looking for unbiased information.
a Frisbee is indeed a round object. 🙂 do you mean you enjoy spherical objects?
touche, you really remind me of a friend I had in college…she would have totally caught that
*bows graciously* 🙂
Blessings to your Patrick. Enjoyed your site and seeing your family and calling. Found the blog through a post on the professor firing.
Where did your http://patrickschreiner.com/2013/06/19/critical-thinking-skills/ page go?
Check again, it should be there.
Thanks, Patrick. I see it now.
I’m writing to invite you to join the new Bible Gateway Blogger Grid (BG²). If you’d like details, please email me. Thanks. email@example.com
Is this the same Patrick Schreiner who graduated from Christian Academy in 2003?! My how things change… Last thing I remember is that little incident on Catalina during Senior trip … I am glad to see you doing well. Congratulations on your position at Western Seminary. I found your blog checking on how Google was searching mine. If you don’t mind I will put a link to your blog on mine & I invite you to check mine out. God bless you!
The one and same. Thanks for stopping by. I am not sure what you mean by that little incident on Catalina, although I can remember a few incidents that didn’t involve me directly 🙂
P.S. Your full name fooled me. Now I know who you are. Dr. Nicholson.

Is there a way to subscribe to your blog so that I receive e-mail notifications? That is how I follow all the blogs that I do.
Patrick, thanks for your generous interaction with my review. Quick clarification: I was still summarizing McKnight when I made the point about Jesus not being the embodiment of the kingdom. Sorry that wasn’t clear. As you can see in the next paragraph, I go on to suggest otherwise: that Jesus is the embodiment of the kingdom. Blessings!
Thanks. I did misread that. I thought you were saying the opposite. I will add a note. Thanks for that.
I’d like to know where you got the images for you page depicting The Divine Warrior in Ephesians 4:8. Is this an image that you have royalties to? Who do I contact to obtain the rights to use these images?
Hey, I’ve been reading some of your stuff about interpretation that sparked the following. I don’t know if you have read it, but it sounds like Divine Discourse by Nicholas Wolterstorff would be enjoyable and stimulating to you.
